Flagship Summer Program

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

The program is designed for students that are affiliated with the Chinese Flagship Program and have achieved the Intermediate-Low level according to the proficiency guideline of the American Council of Teaching Foreign Language (ACTFL scale).

Program Content:
Tamkang University Chinese Language Center has been offering intensive, interactive, and interesting summer program for at least 15 years. We believe that students can learn effectively through a well-structured academic program, together with interactions with native Chinese speaking locals, with the result by boosting their language proficiency for at least one sub-level.

As for the 2021 Summer Program, we are facing the challenge of the COVID-19 pandemic. Since the students’ safety measures always come first in our planning, and to ensure the ambition to study Chinese will not be terminated due to the potential travel restrictions, TKUCLC is planning to have the virtual classes as a back-up plan to ensure the Chinese Language study will not be terminated this summer. Details will be provided once confirmed.
